Harvard University's sets a goal to eliminating the use of fossil fuels on its campus by 2050 and achieving fossil fuel-neutrality by 2026 as an important step in addressing climate change. They bought 4 electric buses that's fueled with only electricity and electric infrastructure as an effort to reduce greenhouse gas. Also, electric vehicles are quiet and has strong acceleration. Harvard's electric bus project received support from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) grant program, which is funding numerous projects across the state to electrify transportation. Aiding on reducing greenhouse gas.
