This article is about how Lawrence Reeves, an entomologist, provides a different view of mosquitoes, which most might think as nothing more than blood-sucking pests. He highlights the importance of mosquitoes' roles within the ecosystem. Mosquitoes have over 3,700 species globally. While some species can pose health risks, others don't feed on blood. In fact, only females eat blood for reproduction. Mosquitoes also help with pollination, since their main food is plant sugars. I think it's important to remember; the term pest is only from the perspective of humans. To nature, it's another masterpiece.
