This article follows Matthew Doulgas Adams, he led an excavation which uncovered an ancient brewery in Abydos, Egypt, approximately 5,000 years old. This brewery is the largest ever found in Egypt, having the the size of an industrial-scale production of beer. It can produce over a million liters of beer! The large size is thought to indicate the power and influence of Egyptian kings, as beverage was part of activities like ceremonial rituals and tombs.
